It was definitely that! There were days that I totally forgot to even take out my camera. I had to try and catch up in one day. It was fun though, going on twitter seeing what everyone else took pictures of. I have to say that it did give me Instagram envy. Here’s how sad I am. My 12 y.o. has an iPod Touch with a camera on it. So with his iPod I was able to do a few Instagram shots. Despite the absence of Instagram, I’ve fallen in love with my camera phone. I did find an app that allowed me to edit my photos. My husband was amazed that while I was standing in line to purchase groceries, I was editing photos.
Not all the photos were camera phone. There were some days I took out the big mama Canon and snapped up some lovely pics. Can I just say this new hobby is leading to a new wish lists of filters, lenses, and camera upgrades. Hmmmmmm. Does Santa still answer letters of 30 something year old moms?
I’ve recently discovered something that maybe some of you already know about, for some, this maybe news. I want to give it a whirl first before I blog about it. You know, I gotta test things out to see if it’s as fun as it looks.
So with March here, will I continue on this photo-a-day challenge? Will I add more to my already overflowing plate of life? Because goodness knows I don’t already have enough to do.
Because I’m crazy. I have to just give myself enough things to start making other things spill of my plate. It makes me appreciate the time when I didn’t have a lot to do. You can bet that if I ever return to that state of life, I will savor every moment. Until then, I’ll just keep taking pictures.
